Q Bazaar brings to you this marble butter keeper that promises to keep your butter at room temperature, protecting its flavor and freshness. Made from pure white marble, this offering has been dexterously handcrafted by artisans from North India. The high-grade marble is sourced from Rajasthan, the marble capital of India. It is then hand cut using simple looking hand-held tools like cutters and lathe machines. Marble is a fascinating medium to work with as it is relatively soft when freshly quarried and becomes harder and more durable as it ages. The process of hand cutting marble requires a great deal of precision as it is usually done freehand | How to use: Simply pour approximately ½ inch of water in the base, fill the top of the butter keeper with butter to its brim, turn it upside down so the water is covering the top of the butter, and you’re done! The water in the base seals out the air to keep the butter soft, spreadable and fresh for upto 30 days – without refrigeration (water can be changed every 2-3 days)
